EXPO 4 SHELVING AND SHELF TRAY EXTENSION BAY KIT – EXPANDABLE  SMALL-PARTS STORAGE

This complete extension bay kit combines EXPO 4 shelving components with a pre-selected arrangement of shelf trays, allowing an existing EXPO 4 shelf tray starter bay to be expanded with additional small-parts storage.

Designed to connect directly to a compatible starter bay, the extension bay shares an existing upright and includes the additional uprights, shelves, bracing, fixings and shelf trays required for the selected configuration. It cannot be used as a standalone bay.

The EXPO 4 shelving system uses boltless construction for quick assembly, while the shelf levels can be repositioned at 25mm intervals. This allows the layout to be adapted as products, stock levels or picking requirements change. EXPO 4 extension bays connect to starter bays to create continuous runs of shelving while using fewer components than separate standalone bays.

Each shelf tray features a spring-loaded stop at the rear, allowing the tray to be pulled forward and suspended from the shelf. This provides approximately 90% clear access to the contents, helping users retrieve small parts quickly and comfortably. The stop also acts as a carrying handle.

Each tray includes a front label cover and paper label to support clear stock identification. Optional internal dividers can also be added to separate different components within the same tray, creating an organised and space-efficient high-density storage system.

Boltless construction: Quick to assemble and reconfigure without complicated tools or fixings.

Strong storage performance: Shelf tray configurations offer loadings of up to 120kg UDL per shelf and a maximum bay load of 2,500kg.

WHY CHOOSE AN EXPO 4 SHELVING AND SHELF TRAY EXTENSION BAY?

An extension bay provides a cost-effective way to increase the capacity of an existing EXPO 4 shelf tray system without installing another complete standalone starter bay.

By combining adjustable EXPO 4 shelving with easily accessible shelf trays, the kit helps users store, identify and retrieve small components more efficiently. Additional extension bays can be connected to create longer runs of organised picking storage as operational requirements grow.

It is ideal for businesses that need to expand an existing small-parts storage area while maintaining a consistent, flexible and efficient shelving layout.
